Understanding Legacy Design Bundles Subscriptions

Issue: Why has the name of my subscription changed, and how do the current subscription options affect legacy customers?

Resolution: Design Bundles has introduced new subscription options, but some long-term customers remain on legacy subscriptions.

The name displayed on your account may have changed, but your legacy subscription, licence and included benefits will remain the same unless you choose to move to a current subscription.

Legacy Subscription Names and Licences

Some older subscription names have changed:

• Bronze and Basic subscriptions are now displayed as Hobbyist.
• Gold subscriptions are now displayed as Pro.
• Silver subscriptions were upgraded to Pro.

These changes affect the subscription name displayed on your account. You will continue to receive the legacy licence and benefits associated with your original subscription.

Your subscription does not automatically receive the licence associated with a current subscription simply because the displayed name is the same.

For example, a legacy subscription displayed as Hobbyist will retain its original legacy licence rather than automatically changing to the current Hobbyist Personal Licence.

If you choose to move to a current Hobbyist, Unlimited or Business subscription, the new subscription licence will apply to future downloads. Products downloaded previously will keep the licence issued at the time they were downloaded.

Your Legacy Subscription Price

Your legacy price will usually continue while your subscription remains active and your payments are up to date.

If we need to change the price of your subscription, we’ll let you know in advance and explain your available options.

Important Information About Updating Your Payment Details

Updating or confirming your payment details may move your subscription to the most recent legacy price for that plan. This is particularly important if your account has failed or overdue payments.

If your subscription is in arrears, or you’re concerned about losing your current legacy price, please contact Customer Support before updating your payment details. We can review your account and explain how updating your payment method will affect your subscription.

Upgrading to Unlimited

Unlimited provides access to the full Design Bundles library without a monthly download allowance, subject to our Fair Usage Policy: https://designbundles.net/termsandconditions

If you upgrade from a legacy subscription to Unlimited:

• Your existing unused monthly downloads will not be displayed or available to use while Unlimited is active.
• Your historical download balance will remain recorded on your account.
• If you later move back to an allowance-based subscription, your historical balance will become available again.
• Products previously claimed using your monthly download allowance will remain available in your account.

Unlimited Licensing

Products downloaded through Unlimited include a Premium and Print-on-Demand Commercial Licence. The licence issued when you download a product remains valid for the lifetime of that product, provided it is used in accordance with the licence terms. You can review the current licence options here.

Hobbyist Licensing

The current Hobbyist subscription includes a Personal Licence with each download.

Products downloaded through the current Hobbyist subscription cannot be used for commercial projects, products for sale or Print-on-Demand services.

Please remember that legacy subscriptions displayed as Hobbyist will retain their original legacy licence unless the customer chooses to move to the current Hobbyist subscription.

Creator Access

Pausing Your Subscription

Monthly subscriptions can be paused for up to three months in total each year.

Yearly subscriptions cannot currently be paused.

Monthly and Yearly Billing

Current subscriptions are available with monthly or yearly billing. Yearly billing currently offers a 20% saving compared with paying monthly.

Upgrading or Downgrading

If you upgrade to a higher-priced subscription, the change will take effect immediately. The unused amount from your current billing period will be applied on a pro-rata basis, and you’ll be charged the remaining difference.

If you downgrade, your current subscription will continue until the end of the billing period. The lower subscription will begin on your next billing date.

Access After Pausing or Cancelling

Products purchased individually or claimed using a monthly download allowance will remain available in your account.

Products downloaded through Unlimited will not be available to download again while your Unlimited subscription is inactive. Access will be restored if you reactivate your Unlimited subscription.

Files already downloaded and saved to your device remain yours to use under the licence issued at the time of download.

Any unused monthly downloads connected to a legacy subscription cannot be used while that subscription is paused or inactive.
