Paypal Payout not showing in my account

Modified on Thu, 10 Aug, 2023 at 11:33 AM

Issue: I requested a payout via Paypal that was scheduled to be received by a specific date, but it isn't showing in my account. What should I do?

Resolution:

Common Payout Delay Scenarios

Scenario 1: PayPal Temporary Hold

It's not uncommon for PayPal to place temporary holds on payouts for various reasons, such as security checks or verification processes. If you've requested a payout and haven't received it within 7 days, it's possible that PayPal has temporarily held the payment. Unfortunately, Design Bundles is unable to view these specific details.

Scenario 2: PayPal Cancellation

In some instances, PayPal may cancel a payout on their end due to certain factors. If your requested payout hasn't appeared in your PayPal account by the expected date, this might be the case. Design Bundles does not have direct visibility into these PayPal actions.

Resolving Payout Delays

Step 1: Contact PayPal

If you've experienced a payout delay, the first recommended step is to get in touch with PayPal's customer support. They have access to specific information regarding any holds, cancellations, or other issues related to your payout. Reach out to PayPal to understand the reason behind the delay and gather insights into potential solutions.

Step 2: Cancelling and Re-requesting Payout

If you've verified with PayPal that the issue has been resolved and your payout should be processed, consider cancelling the initial request and re-requesting the payout through your Design Bundles admin panel. Please note that this process might take up to 7 days to complete. Or please contact us by raising a ticket and we will help you to get this solved.

Step 3: Allow for Additional Time

Sometimes, delays can occur due to processing times between different financial institutions. If you still haven't received your payment 7 days following your re-request, it's advisable to give it a little more time. Allow for any potential processing lags to be resolved.

Step 4: Contact Payment Provider

If, even after following the previous steps, you haven't received your payment, we recommend reaching out to your payment provider (e.g., PayPal) again to investigate the situation further. They can provide more insights into the reasons for the delay and offer guidance on the next steps.

Conclusion

We understand that payout delays can be frustrating, and we appreciate your patience as you work to resolve the issue. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can efficiently tackle payout delays and ensure a smoother experience with your Design Bundles transactions.
